Genesis Coffee Roasters was born from a simple belief: great coffee has the power to bring people together.

Founded in 2021 by Alex and Kyle, Genesis began with a leap of faith, a passion for exceptional coffee, and a desire to build something that would positively impact both local and global communities. What started with a single roaster and a dream has grown into a thriving, family-owned coffee roastery serving customers throughout Northern California and beyond.

Today, Genesis specializes in small-batch organic coffees sourced from some of the world's finest coffee-growing regions. Every coffee is carefully selected, roasted in Shingle Springs, California, and delivered fresh so customers can experience coffee at its absolute best.

Alex serves as owner and head roaster, combining her background as an educator with a relentless pursuit of quality and craftsmanship. She believes every cup should tell a story—from the farmers who grew the coffee to the families gathered around the breakfast table sharing it. Her passion for entrepreneurship, community building, and serving others continues to shape the heart of Genesis.

Kyle, a proud Veteran and public servant, shares a deep appreciation for simple, well-crafted coffee and meaningful connections. Together, they have built Genesis around the values of integrity, service, and community.
