It’s already November! The season is transitioning with cooler temperatures and changing leaves, making fall one of our favorite times of the year. The chill in the air brings cozy fireplaces, leisurely mornings, and the joy of sipping on delicious coffee. This season also serves as a moment to reflect on the past year and express gratitude for all that has transpired. Y'all, it's Thanksgiving!

This year has been quite the adventure. We started off thinking we would be actively working in our new commercial space by March. However, March came and went, and our goals kept getting postponed. It was definitely a lesson in perseverance and determination—haha! (Patience isn’t exactly my strong suit, can you tell? 😂) Nevertheless, there were many lessons to learn, connections to make, and roasting skills to refine throughout the year. I am incredibly thankful for the community that Genesis has brought into my life. I love seeing other small businesses achieve their goals, realize their dreams, and reach their full potential. I appreciate all the amazing people I've met at the Farmer’s Market this year. I miss seeing everyone! The vendors who felt like family—sharing stories about our weeks between markets, brainstorming new business strategies, and discussing future plans.

Genesis Coffee Roasters is more than just a bag of beans; it’s a community of individuals coming together to connect over a cup of coffee. This community is something I truly cherish. This year has certainly involved growth and stretching, but I am eagerly looking forward to what the next year holds (we are thinking roasting experiences and classes in the new year 😉). I am thankful for each one of you and your support of my dream come true. Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you all have a wonderful holiday filled with much to be grateful for!
